In a highly digitised and globalised world, it is vital to be able to understand each other even if you do not speak the same language. Language Technologies (LT) are the basis for building the necessary bridges between countries and language borders.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has led to substantial advances in Language Technologies (LT) and an increasing amount of innovative language tools and services, aiming to facilitate multilingual operations and to reduce the workload of public administrations, SMEs and the academic field, among others. What are the latest trends in LT and AI? What do smart cities look like? How can multilingual chat bots usefully support operations of public services? And which language technologies are most suitable for my organisation?
The 2nd CEF eTranslation Conference, taking place via Zoom on 14 October 2020, from 09:30 am to 3:30 pm CEST will shed light on these questions. Centred around the motto “Tools and Services for a Multilingual Europe”, the online event will showcase smart eTranslation applications and the latest tools for enabling multilinguality, including e.g. anonymisation, speech recognition, text-to-speech and many more.
More details about the conference and the agenda are available on the conference website. To join this free online event, please register here. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the event organisers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
