The EU-funded European Language Grid (ELG) project aims to develop and deploy a scalable cloud platform, providing, in an easy-to-integrate way, access to hundreds of commercial and non-commercial language technologies for all EU languages, including running tools and services as well as data sets and resources.
One of the objectives of the project is to demonstrate the usefulness of the European Language Grid as a platform and also as a European project and initiative. The project will do this by offering small grants through open calls, where up to 20 pilot projects will be financially supported. The first call for proposals was launched on 1 March 2020 with submission deadline on 30 April 2020. All details are available on the call page.
In addition, the ELG project is currently also looking for evaluators to help evaluate the proposals submitted. Full details of how to apply to be an evaluator can be found here.
